Whitlock , tidligere Lawton , var et britisk bilmerke som var eid av Lawton Goodman Ltd. fra 1914 til 1933 . i Cricklewood (Hertfordshire) nær London . Dette merket skal ikke forveksles med den eldre Whitlock Aster produsert av Whitlock Automobile Co. Ltd. ble bygget.

beskrivelse

Den første Lawton dukket opp i 1914. Dette var 12/16 HP og 20/30 HP med firesylindrede motorer . Karosseriformen sedan og varebil er overlevert. Fra 1915 ble merkenavnet Whitlock brukt. Et år senere endte produksjonen foreløpig på grunn av krigen.

Etter første verdenskrig dukket ikke mellomstore modeller med fire og sekssylindrede motorer opp igjen før i 1922 . De to siste modellene, som ble tilbudt fra 1927, hadde større sekssylindrede motorer. Et kjøretøy eksisterer fremdeles i dag.
